Shoal Lake No.40 First Nation is seeking two self-motivated individuals for our public works office to provide general maintenance and some minor repair skills required.
The successful candidates will have: general knowledge of repair and maintenance of community equipment, ability to maintain roads, garbage pickup sites, help with water line repair, culvert replacements, get fire wood for ceremony and funerals, brush clearing along roads any tasks chief and council request. Preventative maintenance and minor problem solving of mechanical equipment, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
Ability and willingness to preform emergency work after normal working hours if needed.
Ability to operate small gas and electrical equipment. General maintenance grounds and equipment sites located at various areas of the community. Assist where needed at various job site(s) in a health and safe manner. Must be physically capable of performing a wide variety of physical tasks.
